When my children were young, I would encourage healthy sleep habits by having a consistent bedtime, eating an earlier dinner with some physical activity afterwards, and then winding down with a bath, reading a book, saying prayers together and tucking into bed in a dark, quiet, cool, comfortable space. I would remind them that the best work of the body is done at night... it was the time for the muscles and bones to rejuvenate and be ready for growth and the activity coming the next day.

With today's lifestyles, having a routine similar to this... for both Adults and Children... is critical. So much happens at night... the body is very busy cleansing and rejuvenating.

What Happens When You Get A Good Night's Sleep?

  • The digestive system processes stop (stop eating 2-3 hours before retiring at night!).

  • GABA is produced by the hypothalamus and it quiets the arousal centers.

  • Growth hormone goes up for the rebuilding of muscles, cells and organs.

  • Cortisol (stress) hormone goes down.

  • Leptin hormone increases and grehlin hormone decreases for appropriate appetite and weight control.

  • Immune strengthening chemicals are released into the bloodstream, like undifferentiated naïve T cells.

  • The glymphatic system is activated and amyloid plaque is detoxed from the brain.

If you're not getting a good night's sleep, you may be setting yourself up for long-term cognitive and physical challenges.

Consider what I have found as my answer... One hour or so before heading to bed, I take:

2 capsules of Herbal Sleep

1 capsule of Melatonin Extra

A huge advantage for me is waking up shortly before my reasonably set alarm feeling fresh and relaxed at the same time! The multiple advantages of good sleep rhythm would suggest that most people will have their overall health improved with this inexpensive, easy evening program. You deserve these benefits! I have clients also using this protocol with the same results! So exciting! I'd love to hear about your experience when you give it a try!

Herbal Sleep is a natural sedative formula containing herbs that calm the body, relieve anxiety and nervousness, and promote restful sleep. Herbal Sleep does not produce the typical "drugged" symptoms associated with pharmaceutical sedatives. Herbal Sleep is particularly beneficial for individuals who awake repeatedly during the night due to nervous tension or an overactive mind. Herbal Sleep has been found helpful for anxiety, chemical dependency, hyperactivity, insomnia and other sleep disorders, nervous/tension headaches, restlessness. Herbal Sleep may also help reduce high blood pressure resulting from anxiety and nervous excitability.

Melatonin plays a key role, not only in a person's sleeping patterns, but also in the process of aging, energy production, immunity, and more. Melatonin supplements are a non-addictive, natural means for promoting deep sleep. It also helps individuals fall asleep faster, remain asleep longer, and have greater energy levels when they awake.
