As I read these quotes, I ask myself some questions very much relevant to love and giving on Valentine’s Day. “To whom will I give? and What will I give?” I could take food to the food bank, gather great clothes that no longer serve me and take to donation center, pick up loose trash in the parking lot, call someone I would like to hear from, tell someone “Thank You” as I look them in the eye, smile at a clerk, compliment someone, offer to hold the door for someone, pay it forward in the drive-through or grocery store, offer someone a ride, invite someone to lunch, bake a special dish and share with a neighbor.
The possibilities for expanding your giving are so very many. Do you want to have a really fun, loving Valentine’s day, then I hope you will get out of your routine box of expectations for the day and give to another to whom you might not otherwise give! By the way, you don’t need to stop with one! Give like crazy and go for a really fun day sharing love in simple ways wherever you are!
